Progressive delivery sends the video as fast as a user's computer accepts it. The video files are completely downloaded to the client's machine and stored in the browser cache. Streaming: A method of video delivery which sends video in real time to a client machine, which plays the video as it is received and then discards it from memory. The connection is intelligent and allows the video to respond to network requests and client requests. The startup time for streaming method is faster compared to progressive download method. |
